Business Assessments

A business assessment is important if you are looking for new growth, expansion or selling your business in order to look at an overall picture of your business in order to achieve your maximum growth and return.

 It is important to look at the following areas:  Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Though you as a small business you may have shared or outsourced roles for these areas, they are distinct and important functions within a business and an underlying issue in one area can adversely affect another.

• Develop with you a business assessment of your key business areas to help determine the greatest areas of improvement 

• Develop with you a go forward tactical action plan to address areas of concerns in specific areas of your business

• Develop a roll out plan with you along with training required staff on implementation of any changes or additions to your business

Business Plans and Business Cases

A business plan is the business guide for how you should run your business that outlines every area of your business and how you plan to achieve the goals you have set for your business.  A business plan is usually written when a business is started, when additional financing is required, when you are looking to expand, or when you are looking to sell your business.  This should be a living, breathing document and should be updated as your business changes to achieve overall success.

A business case is written when there is one particular change required in your business and you are not required to provide a complete business plan for financing or further investment.  An example of this would be the purchase of additional equipment.
